Online Holiday Sales Up

Even though the worlds economy is in a slump, the Virtual economy is booming! Looks like Online Sales for the Holiday Shopping Season were up “Big Time” this year.

Amazon says it had it’s “Best Year Ever” with sales up around 20% over last year. At the peak they were selling 72.9 items per second! The big sellers include 52″ HDTV, iPods, Laptops, and Wii.

Blogging For Fun Or Profit

Do you Blog for fun or are you looking to Make Money from your Blog? I think you can really do both. The key is to Blog about something that is fun for you. For me, Making Money Online is my idea of fun. So Blogging about how to Make Money Online is perfect for me.

Affiliate Checks

The other day, I was looking at ome of the mail at the office, and I realized I had a whold pile of checks that were from different Online Marketing ventures. Nothing better that getting checks in the mail, especially Affiliate Checks from your Internet Marketing promotions.

Affiliate Marketing is one of the easiest ways to Make Money Online. Just promote someone elses products, let them do all the work, and you just make money from your promotional efforts.

There is an excellent resource on Affiliate Marketing written by one of the best Affiliate Marketers on the Internet today, my friend Jeremy Palmer. It’s his book called High Performance Affiliate Marketing.

Blog AdRotator Plugin

Blogging has hit it’s stride. Everyone is blogging and the dominant platform is WordPress. Now Content is King in blogging, with good content you should be able to attract your own audience.

I am in the Internet Marketing niche, so I attract Internet Marketers. Whatever your niche, the one thing you want to do is Make Money from your Blog. And one of the simplest, easiest ways to Make Money from your Blog is to Advertise.

I have stumbled across a very cool plugin that allows you to rotate ads on your Blog (Including Google Adsense or AdPac Content Ads). It’s called the AdRotator.

The AdRotator displays ads (which are randomly selected from a group of advertisements specified in a text file) at your chosen location.In other words, it allows you to set up simple text files with multiple ads in each.

You can then reference the text files anywhere in the blog template and the plugin will rotate between the ads found in the text file.

It has been tested on WordPress 1.5 & 2.x. Should work with earlier and later versions (future and past proofed). It can also be used with other CMS systems or anywhere where PHP is supported.

The AdRotator plugin was created by a very smart programmer from India by the name of Angsuman Chakraborty. His company is called Taragana Inc. He has also created some other cool plugins including Translator Pro and a Comment Guard.

Drive Traffic To Your Blog

Commenting on other Blogs can be a great way to drive targeted traffic to your Blog. While cruising the Internet the other day I came across a cool post by Shawn Jooste of Elite Blogger. Shawn shares one of his his personal Traffic Getting Strategies, which I think is a good one.

While commenting on other blogs is not a new idea, the way Shawn goes about it is imaginative and gets results. Heck I found his blog, so you know it works.

The key is, like with anything, is to be real, and provide good quality, relevant, comments. You may tap into an audience that you may not otherwise reach.

Here’s the basic technique:

Write a Post like this one, and publish it to your blog
Then take your Primary Keyword and do a Blog Search
Leave 10 comments on 10 different blogs, linking back to
your Blog Post (Not to your Home Page).

With a little luck you will get on some “Do Follow” blogs, (Like this one) and get the Back Link Juice!

The majority of people making less than $100 per month. There are many ways to “Monetize” your blog. One of the most important is having good content, updated regularly. As simple as it sounds this is the key. It only makes sense, you have to have “Traffic” people reading your blog 1st, them Monetize it using some of the many Blog Marketing Strategies available.

I highly recommend getting Rob Bewwells Book “Blogging To The Bank“, it’s cheap and a fast read. This will open your eyes to the possibilities, and get you going in the right direction!

Sell ClickBank With AdPacs

Last night on the iNetGlobal V-WebCast, someone brought up a question about how to sell products from ClickBank. This is a cool subject, and the basis for many ebooks and course. This is an Affiliate Marketing Strategy, and there are a lot of Marketers who make a good living selling ClickBank products.

So just how do you sell ClickBank products….

How To Sell ClickBank Products With AdPacs!

I logged in to Click Bank live and showed everyone exactly how to:

Pick a Click Bank Product:
What are the best products to choose. How to tell what’s
a good seller, and how much money you can make on it.
How to set up your Click Bank Affiliate Link. This is what
Click Bank calls a “Hop-Link” The URL you send people to.
How to load your Hop-Link up to the AdPacs Surf Rotator.
Then apply credits and place it into the ad mix.

And I know it works because I just got a $700 something check in the mail from Click Bank, I get checks from them all the time, and the only place I advertise Click Bank products is on the AdPacs Surf Network.

This got me thinking, lots of marketers charge for this type of information. I could really put this information together in a course, a coulle videos, manual, case studies, snazzy sales letter and Wammo – a $297 Product!

Now if I only have 28 hour in a day. I know, “Outsource”! I’ll find some guys in the Phillipines who need some extra money and have them create the course for me! Oh.. but that’s another course
