Mobile Search is beginning to dominate over desktop search. This is simply because people are using their Smartphones and Mobile Devices more, and Mobile Searchers take action. Over 75% of all Mobile Searches happen at home or the office, while less that 20% actually happen on the road. In a recent joint study by Google and Nielsen, shows that 55% of conversions from mobile searches happen within one hour. After analyzing over 6000 mobile searches and the actions that resulted, they were able to track precise and measurable connections between mobile searches and the online and offline conversions that they drive.
