Notable Minneapolis Tech Startups
Minneapolis has been my home and has also been where several of my businesses are headquartered for quite some time. It has also been the home of more than 17 Fortune 500 companies from diversified markets. Over the last several years however, I have noticed the influx of startups, specifically in the tech industry. Here is a list of notable tech startups here in Minneapolis that have caught my eye.
This online platform that matches contractors with clients has been steadily growing since its inception in 2008. Other than being my neighbor here in Downtown Minneapolis, Field Nation is one of the fastest growing private companies in the city.
Leadpages is a software developer and one of largest builders of landing pages for businesses, and is a Minneapolis based company. Sales have slowed slightly since its robust 10 fold growth of 2015, but the company is still going strong.
Novu connects with healthcare providers to help them design systems and programs promoting healthy lifestyles. This startup has already landed big client United Health Group, and is on its way to make waves in the field of medical apps.
When I Work
When I Work is shaking up the up the way that businesses track hourly workers. It has created a time management platform that is user and wallet friendly.
This company specializes in application development for both mobile and web. Launched in 2001 it also tops the list as one of the fastest growing private companies in the city.
The last on the list is data protection and backup software company Code 42, a fellow Downtown neighbor. Founded in 2001 it’s growth has been steady since its founding.
